In conjunction with Better World Books, the Office of Letters and Light is running the Great NaNoWriMo Book Drive to help raise money for creative writing programs around the world. This includes improving their Young Writers Program; in 2009, the Young Writers Program was in 1,200 classrooms with over 35,000 children participating. This year, over 2,000 classrooms world wide are expected to participate.
In order to help with the book drive and raise money for these programs, I am running a local chapter of the book drive here in Guelph. The book drive will run from October 15th until December 10th
